Quality Assurance Manager
I was born and raised in the province of Bergamo in Northern Italy. I started my cooking career in my native city, and gained experiences as a chef in various restaurants in Italy for over 10 years, then I moved to the US to expand my career. After working in major US cities such as Manhattan, San Francisco, Boston, and Philadelphia, I opened up my own Italian restaurant in upstate New York. In 2005, joined the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. I passionately led the college’s Italian restaurant as a chef to train future generations of culinary professionals. I also developed college curriculums, lectured Italian regional cuisines and culture to classes as a assistant professor.
After spending 12 years at the college, I wanted to expand my career in the food industry, and was excited to join the team of Green Heart Foods as a Quality Assurance Manager.
I love outdoor life, my passions next to food are mountain biking and photography.
I like simple food, made with a few fresh ingredients, a plate of spaghetti with tomato and basil is still my favorite dish.
